Description:
Southbound train 23 arriving from Hope, Ar With KCS 4050 leading. The KCS Cab unit slugs were rebuilt with control stands so they could lead a consist. The train crews liked them because they were quiter than powered units.

F-unit set on detour train at Sibley, La.
Description:
Train detour due to washout between Minden and Shreveport. Train had to go east on ICG and then runaround train to go west. It ran with a caboose on each end for convenience. Train is about to cross over the KCS mainline.
